Our story began when we were in college while Litton (my wife) and I (Stephen) were both studying art at the University of Hawaii.    During that time we started what is now Stephen Ludwig Wedding Photography with me as the lead photographer / designer and Litton as the secondary photographer and office manager.  With photography at the helm we continued to grow creatively through other mediums like web design, illustration, painting and product design.  After 15 years of photographing weddings in Hawaii we have made many valuable connections and  had the privilege of working with some of the best Hawaii has to offer.

That goofy guy to the left is me! I was born in Hawaii and Hawaii is home, however, my father being in the Navy resulted in me living much of my youth in various states.  I left Hawaii as an infant to live in Maine and then every few years we would move again to Alaska, California, Wisconsin and eventually returning to Hawaii.  I finished up high school in Mililani and then college at the University of Hawaii Manoa graduating with a Bachelor in Fine Arts Drawing and Painting.  

Packed like sardines in a our old blue Volvo station wagon my family drove and camped through much of the U.S. which eventually led to my love for travel and people. Hoping to one day check off visiting all seven continents from my to do list.

Drawing and painting as kids with my older brother I grew obsessed with learning about all things art. Whether it was designing webpages, making a mess painting, or tearing my house apart just to learn how to put it all back together. For better or worse I am just fascinated with how things work and how to make them better. 

At times I feel old-fashioned and I tend to be a bit social media shy. I'm not the best writer, but I love communicating with others. There's nothing I enjoy more than talking one on one over the phone or sitting down for a chat while drinking a good cup of coffee.

When I'm not out photographing weddings I am lucky to spend my time working at home with my wife Litton and our son Aeims along with our small zoo of house pets.

Most people call me Litton, some friends call me Lit and my husband Stephen calls me babe.  I was Born in Thailand and moved to the Big Island at a young age and later finished school on Oahu at The University of Hawaii at Manoa with a major in Art History. I am the secondary photographer for Stephen Ludwig Photography and I use my organizations skills keep the business end of things running smoothly. 

I love the smell of freshly brewed coffee, I can't resist the sweet taste of chocolate, I value a simple lunch date with a dear friend, I love to snuggle under a poufy comforter on a rainy day and I find soft oversized knitted sweaters simply irresistible. 

I prefer cheap eats over fancy feasts and I am an unabashed homebody. On occasion I get wanderlust and travel to other parts of the world to tame this desire. When traveling you can find me visiting national parks, spontaneously camping or driving endless hours from one destination to the next to see what Mother Nature has to show me. My favorite cuisines are Thai and Japanese but when I'm pregnant it is Italian everyday! 

I can watch a marathon of Jane Austen movie adaptations until the end of time which I suppose make me a bit of a romantic. Stephen is my best friend, business partner and my biggest supporter in everything I do.
